Industries of the present and the future in Romania, based on technologies on the horizon of the 2040s
The theme "Industries of the present and the future in Romania, based on technologies on the horizon of the 2040s" constituted the theme of the second debate from the broad approach "The Romanian economic model in the EU. Romania - Horizon 2040", initiated and organized by the Association for Economic-Social Studies and Forecasts (ASPES) under the auspices of the Romanian Academy - Section of Economic, Legal and Sociological Sciences, president acad. Bud Isarescu.
Partners are the General Association of Economists from Romania (AGER), the Association of Faculties of Economics from Romania (AFER), the Academy of Economic Studies from Bucharest (ASE), the "Costin C. Kiritescu" National Institute of Economic Research of the Romanian Academy (INCE), "Durable Romania", the Academic Management Society of Romania (SAMRO), the Association of Employers' Confederations of Romania (ACPR), the National Alliance of Student Organizations of Romania (ANOSR).
Computerland Romania supported the organization of these debates as a sponsor.
The basic objective of the project is to outline "the way in which the trajectory of the Romanian economy should be reconstructed in the coming decades. If we do not enter the 2020-2025 cadence, which will change the vectors of evolution towards 2040, we will remain on the sidelines. Romania has a real potential to achieve registration in the direction of development", said Dr. ec. Constantin Bostina, president of ASPES
A basic condition for capitalizing on this potential, stated the moderator of the debates, Mr. Nicolae Badea, president of Computerland Romania, co-president of the Alliance of Romanian Employers' Confederations (ACPR), is "to be more present in advanced technologies, to join the countries that have assumed policies for change in industry, in agriculture, in all branches economically important".

The conclusions of all the debates are to be presented in a NATIONAL FORUM, which will take place in January 2020, in the HALL OF THE ROMANIAN ACADEMY, to which the following will be invited: the President of Romania, the President of the Senate, the President of the Chamber of Deputies, the Prime Minister of the Government of Romania, as well as and representatives of the management of the European Union Commission.
THE ROMANIAN ECONOMIC MODEL IN EU. ROMANIA – HORIZON 2040, aims to define, for the present and the future, the coordinates of the evolution of the Romanian economy, as an economy based on knowledge, in accordance with the national interest and with the new trends in the EU and the world economy.
This approach is generated by the academic, university, research and reflection environment, the business environment and representatives of young entrepreneurs, students and pupils and aims to outline the milestones of Romania's evolution in the 2018-2040 interval from an economic and social, with special attention given to education.
