Installation and configuration operations of hardware components and software applications influence, through their quality, the possibility of efficient use of IT equipment by the client.
Installation & configuration of components
Whether it is the complete assembly of a computer (desktop or laptop), or only certain components, we have the necessary knowledge, specific experience and the appropriate technical equipment. By checking the compatibility of the components, knowing and respecting the parameters given by the manufacturer, the specificities and particularities of certain components, categories, models or brands, we maximize the efficiency with which the installation/uninstallation/configuration operation is carried out.
Installation & configuration of the operating system The
operating system has the role of managing the operation of the hardware components, coordinating and controlling the execution of the programs and allowing the user to communicate with the computer system. Depending on the client's needs and the hardware configuration of the system, the optimal operating system is chosen. After installation, the configuration of the operating system significantly increases the efficiency of use.
Driver installation & configuration
Most components in a system, especially those with significant vendor-specific or model-specific changes, need drivers to enable communication with the operating system (by default also with other hardware, software, and not finally with the user - through specific interfaces). Many times, there is a well-defined order of driver installation, or the need for additional configurations.
Application installation & configuration
Utility and auxiliary programs are installed as needed or explicit request, with possible recommendations.
All these installation operations can be done one after the other or individually, depending on the need.
Hardware/software maintenance and support
Hardware maintenance – involves the periodic maintenance of equipment, the diagnosis of possible hardware problems, the replacement of defective components and the performance of upgrades upon request.
Software maintenance – involves checking the proper functioning of the operating systems (Windows, Linux) and installed applications, as well as the control and configuration of the services required for each workstation, periodic optimization, devirusing and data backup if necessary.
The maintenance of a computer consists of a set of checks and interventions (both on the hardware and on the software), and it is necessary to perform it periodically, like any technical review.
Network administration
Our specialists design the network adapted to the needs of the clients, also providing support for the administration of networks and component elements (servers, storage equipment, active network elements).
Server Administration – involves the administration of Windows, Linux servers and the configuration/maintenance of the running services.
