IT Service Engineer
Description of the activity
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots IT equipment (server, PC, laptop, etc.);
- Performs maintenance service for specific equipment for clients who have concluded such contracts with our company;
- Configures IT equipment;
- Delivers and installs the configured equipment;
- Installs and tests the operating system related to the equipment, as well as other programs;
- Provide technical support over the phone or to the beneficiary for configured/delivered/installed products;
- They are constantly perfected through courses or individual study and are authorized for the product by taking tests and exams, after which they receive certificates;
- Promotes the services of the service center and constantly looks for new opportunities for contracting services and finding new customers for the service;
- Provides client-specific IT services for outsourcing contracts (following prior training).
Requirements:
- Graduate of a higher education institution, preferably technical faculty (Engineer);
- Responsible, serious, organized, rigorous, honest, inclined towards IT service;
- Good knowledge of the English language;
- Communication and negotiation skills, team spirit;
- Ability to work effectively under stress;
- Experience in a position with direct interaction with clients is an advantage;
- Thorough knowledge of products and services on the IT market;
- Certifications granted by major IT manufacturers are an advantage (HP, IBM, Lenovo, etc.);
- Microsoft certifications are an advantage;
- Experience of at least 1 year in a similar company;
- Ability to study and take exams in order to obtain new certifications required by the company (Microsoft, CompTIA, HP, Lenovo, IBM certifications, etc.);
- Driving license category B.
