1. Management Commitment

SC Computerland Romania SRL recognizes its responsibility towards environmental protection and is committed to carrying out its IT distribution and professional training activities in a sustainable manner, minimizing the negative impact on the environment. This policy provides the reference framework for setting environmental objectives and continuously improving our performance, in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 and international ESG reporting standards.

The policy applies to all employees (~43), departments and locations: the main headquarters in Bucharest (Str. Fabrica de Glucoză no. 15) and the secondary headquarters (historical monument building).

2. Qualitative Objectives

  • Energy Efficiency: Reducing the consumption of energy resources in our own offices and optimizing professional travel to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Waste Management: Applying the waste hierarchy (prevention → reuse → recycling → recovery → disposal), with an emphasis on selective collection and responsible recycling of IT equipment (WEEE).
  • Green Procurement: Selecting suppliers that demonstrate compliance with environmental standards (RoHS, REACH) and that offer highly energy-efficient products (Energy Star, EPEAT).
  • Product Safety for Customers: Exclusive distribution of CE, RoHS and REACH certified IT products, ensuring that the equipment sold is safe for end users throughout its entire life cycle.
  • Environmental Advocacy and Services: Supporting customers in reducing their carbon footprint through recommendations for energy-efficient products, information on WEEE recycling and take-back programs.
  • Legal Compliance: Compliance with all national and European environmental regulations, including WEEE, RoHS, REACH legislation and ISO 14001:2015 requirements.

4. Operational commitments — Energy and GHG

  • Maintaining a recycling/recovery rate of over 90% for all waste generated from operations
  • Selective collection of paper, cardboard, plastic and metal waste at all locations
  • Reducing paper consumption by digitizing internal processes (invoices, contracts, commercial offers)

6. Customer Health and Safety

Objective: zero product safety incidents reported annually.
  • Exclusive marketing of CE certified IT products, compliant with RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU and REACH Regulation (EU) No. 1907/2006
  • Providing customers with information on the safe use, maintenance and proper disposal of products at the end of their life cycle
  • Ensuring that training spaces meet indoor air quality, lighting, ergonomics and electrical safety requirements
  • Verification upon receipt of the conformity documentation (Declaration of Conformity) for the products sold

7. Environmental Services and Advocacy

Objective: to provide customers with information on the carbon footprint and energy efficiency of 100% of products distributed by 2026.

  • Active promotion of products with high energy efficiency (Energy Star, EPEAT) and extended life cycle in all commercial offers
  • Offering take-back programs and maintenance services to extend the life of customers' IT equipment
  • Supporting customers with information on responsible recycling of WEEE and available collection options
  • Participation in sectoral initiatives on circular economy and sustainability in IT
  • Transparent communication of the company's environmental performance within annual sustainability reports

1. Purpose and Scope

This policy expresses the commitment of SC Computerland România SRL to ensure fair, dignified working conditions that promote the well-being, professional-personal balance and satisfaction of all its employees. The policy applies to all employees with individual employment contracts, regardless of the type of contract or the work location.

2. Remuneration and Benefits

  • Salary at least equal to the guaranteed minimum gross salary in payment, with annual review based on the local economic context — including inflation trends and remuneration levels practiced in the Romanian IT industry
  • Internal pay equity principle — remuneration based on skills, responsibilities and performance, without discrimination based on gender, age or nationality
  • Compensation for overtime hours according to the Labor Code — appropriate time off in the next 30 days or a salary increase of at least 75%. No overtime hours remain uncompensated
  • Access to occupational health services (Delta Medical Center SRL contract) — medical examinations upon employment, periodic and upon resumption of activity after extended sick leave
  • Extra-salary benefits: meal vouchers (20 lei/working day), occasional bonuses (Christmas, Easter, March 8, June 1), birthday bonus (150 lei net), marriage bonus (500 lei net)

3. Work Schedule and Work-Life Balance

  • Strict compliance with the maximum legal working time (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week) and granting daily and weekly rest according to the Labor Code
  • The right to disconnect — employees are not required to respond to professional requests outside of work hours, except in clearly defined operational emergencies
  • Flexible work arrangements where the nature of the activity allows: teleworking, flexi-time, part-time, staggered hours adapted to individual needs

4. Family-Friendly Programs

  • Maternity, paternity and parental leave according to the Romanian legislation in force (GEO no. 96/2003, Law no. 210/1999), with job guarantee
  • Additional paid days off: birth of a child (5 working days father), marriage of the employee (5 days), death of a first-degree family member (3 days)
  • Part-time or teleworking for employees caring for minor children or relatives with special needs
  • No dismissal decision can be motivated by pregnancy or parental leave

5. Working Environment and Well-being

  • Clean, ergonomic, well-lit and ventilated spaces at both company locations
  • Zero tolerance for harassment, intimidation or any form of abuse in the workplace, regardless of hierarchy

I. Introduction

COMPUTERLAND ROMANIA has developed this Code of Ethics and Integrity in order to ensure the highest possible ethical standards in the conduct of its activities. The Code defines the set of values ​​and principles that underlie the company's activities and represents an essential component of the preventive control system. It applies to everyone: administrators and auditors, management personnel and employees, all external parties that operate directly or indirectly for the company.

II. Fundamental Ethical Principles (selection)

  • Compliance with laws and regulations — an indispensable principle for COMPUTERLAND, including in all countries where the company operates
  • Respect for personal dignity and impartiality — Discriminatory conduct of any kind is not accepted. The company ensures the active integration of employees with disabilities. Diversity is a factor of progress
  • Avoiding conflicts of interest — any potential conflict must be declared; Annual Integrity Declaration mandatory for employees with decision-making positions
  • Confidentiality and protection of personal data — obligation that continues even after the employment relationship ends; Confidentiality Commitment signed by all employees with access to data
  • Transparency and verifiability of operations — all operations and transactions must be correctly recorded, authorized, verifiable, legitimate and consistent

Anti-Corruption Policy — Zero Tolerance for Bribery

ComputerLand Romania firmly states the principle of zero tolerance towards bribery in all its activities. We do not and will never tolerate the offering or acceptance of bribes in any form, regardless of the circumstances or persons involved. The maximum threshold for courtesy gifts: 200 RON.

  • Freedom of Association — We respect the fundamental right of employees to associate freely, without fear of retaliation, intimidation or harassment.

1. Declaration of Commitment

Computerland Romania recognizes its responsibility as an IT distributor to minimize negative impact and maximize positive impact on the environment and society through its procurement practices. We are committed to integrating sustainability criteria (ESG) into the supplier selection and evaluation process, ensuring that the products and services purchased comply with environmental standards, are produced under fair labor conditions and come from suppliers who respect the principles of business ethics.

The policy is MANDATORY for the procurement process and is implemented GRADUALLY, starting with critical suppliers (which represent 80% of the total procurement volume).

2. Guiding Principles

  • Environment: We prefer suppliers with ISO 14001, RoHS/REACH compliant products, WEEE programs, public carbon emissions reporting and concrete environmental impact reduction targets
  • Social (Social & Human Rights): We prefer suppliers who comply with labor laws, have ISO 45001 or documented OH&S system, have anti-discrimination policies and DO NOT tolerate forced labor or child labor
  • Governance: We prefer suppliers who have a documented Code of Conduct, anti-corruption policies, are GDPR compliant and transparent in their business practices
