Romania's economic competitiveness. EU area and NON-EU area
The Association for Economic-Social Studies and Forecasts (ASPES) organized, on August 28, in partnership with the General Association of Economists from Romania (AGER), the Association of Faculties of Economics from Romania (AFER), the Academy of Economic Studies (ASE) – Bucharest, the National Institute of Economic Research "Costin C. Kiritescu" (INCE), Durabila Romania, the Academic Management Society of Romania (SAMRO), the Association of Romanian Employers' Confederations (ACPR), the National Alliance of Student Organizations from Romania (ANOSR) the eleventh debate within the approach: "THE ROMANIAN ECONOMIC MODEL. ROMANIA – HORIZON 2040".
The theme of the debate was "Economic competitiveness of Romania. EU Zone and NON-EU Zone" and took place at the BNR - Center for Professional Development and Social Activities. All the debates so far have been held under the auspices of the ROMANIAN ACADEMY - Section of Economic, Legal and Sociological Sciences, academician president Mugur Isarescu, being hosted by the BNR as a rule.

The conclusions of all the debates are to be presented in a NATIONAL FORUM, which will take place in January 2020, in the HALL OF THE ROMANIAN ACADEMY, to which the following will be invited: the President of Romania, the President of the Senate, the President of the Chamber of Deputies, the Prime Minister of the Government of Romania, as well as and representatives of the management of the European Union Commission.
