BucharestFoodSummit.ro, now in its third edition, is the largest and most important international autumn event in Romania, in agribusiness, food production, beverage production, retail and HoReCa.

This exceptional event, which takes place between September 21 and November 19, 2020, in a video conference system, is organized in partnership with: #RomaniaFunctioneaza, FoodBiz, CEC Bank, Casa de Avocatura Biris - Goran, ASAS, USAMV Bucharest, ASPES, FIHR, ICDP-Maracineni, HORA, Agrostandard and Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.

On October 14, 2020, one of the most intense debates about agribusiness in Romania took place, with the title: "How do we accelerate the integration of production and sales in agribusiness?", moderated by Gabriel Biris, Founding Partner, Casa de Avocatura Biris-Goran and Bogdan Popovici, BucharestFoodSummit.

The event enjoyed the participation of Mr. Minister Florin Citu, Ministry of Public Finance and Mr. Secretary of State Emil Dumitru, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, together with prominent representatives of the entrepreneurial and academic environment in the field.

Among the topics discussed were:

"Does the company's profit increase during the integration process? Additional Profit Resources.” – Dimitrie Musca, Entrepreneur, President of the CAI Curtici Group

"Increasing the degree of integration in the production of electricity in the farm!" – Alexandru Baciu, Entrepreneur, Baciu Farm

"Can we really prepare for integration? Three proposals" - Nicusor Serban, Farmer, President of the Romanian Farmers' Club

"Is Romanian animal husbandry disappearing? Is it preferable for the profit to be in imports?" – Calin Musca, Entrepreneur, Pork Prod

"Governmental mechanisms to stimulate integration" - Emil Dumitru, Secretary of State, MADR

As an honorary representative of the private sector and GOLD sponsor of the event, Mr. Nicolae Badea, the President of ComputerLand Romania, had an intervention that was particularly appreciated by the participants, emphasizing that in the future the emphasis should be placed on an increase in competitiveness and degree integration in agriculture. The state must become an active partner, an anchor of stability and predictability, with a simplified bureaucracy, otherwise it will not be possible to ensure competitiveness in the agricultural field.

The exceptional events within BucharestFoodSummit.ro will continue until November 19, 2020, the next discussion topic being: "Presentation and analysis - collectible food products", Monday, October 19, 2020.
